Founders Day Course Development Grants

The Founder's Day Committee is pleased to announce grants of $1000.00 for faculty to develop course projects, assignments or independent studies with students for Fall 2014, on the topic of civil rights. The student work produced as a result of these grants will be presented or displayed (via performance, digital storytelling, poster, artwork etc.) to the Butler community at Founder's Day 2015.

The Proposal deadline is Monday March 31st at 5 p.m. via email to Monica Strigari. The Founder's Day Committee will convene in April to select five proposals to be awarded $1000.00 each.  Funds will be distributed by May for use to develop projects and/or assignments over the summer. Faculty may choose to divide the money between a stipend and materials (if developing a course assignment or project) or between a stipend for themselves and for an independent study student (if for an independent study project).

Please see the attached document for guidance on how to submit your proposals.
