Strategic Plan
2009-2014
Butler University's strategic plan, Dare to Make a
Difference, reaffirms the mission, commitments, and history of
Butler University and builds upon the successes of its predecessor
Dare to Lead. Throughout its development, the intention has been to
maintain Butler University's dedication to excellence and
innovation in liberal and professional education. We will continue
to offer a liberal arts-infused education that develops engaged
citizens committed to making a positive difference in the world.
Through creative collaborations on campus, in our urban community,
nationally, and internationally, we will engage students in
learning experiences with local impact and global reach. Our work
will inspire Butler students, faculty, staff, and alumni to be
civic-minded agents of change - to dare to make a difference.
