Before accepting the
College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences deanship at Butler
University, Mary Andritz was dean of New York's Albany College of
Pharmacy from 1999 until June 2006, when she was appointed vice
president of clinical and professional development. Prior to
serving as dean, she was a faculty member in the Pharmacy Practice
Department and assistant dean of professional affairs at the
college. Andritz received her doctor of pharmacy degree from the
State University of New York at Buffalo and her bachelor's degree
in pharmacy from the University of Pittsburgh. Her achievements
include numerous presentations and publications, service in
community and professional organizations, and multiple honors,
including the New York State Council of Health-system Pharmacists
Board of Directors Award, Practitioner Recognition Award by the
American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (FASHP) and Who's Who
Among Human Services Professionals. Currently, she serves on the
American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Commission on
Credentialing, which approves and oversees most of the residency
training in pharmacy throughout the United States.
