Pre-Graduate School
The Office
of Pre-Graduate and Pre-Professional Advising is available to
assist students in researching and applying to graduate programs of
all kinds. Whether you are a freshman or sophomore considering your
options or a junior or senior considering a Master's or Ph.D.
program, we are available to assist you with the process.
Although in-depth graduate school advising pertaining to
specific academic disciplines is generally done with a student's
undergraduate department, the Office of Pre-Graduate and
Pre-Professional Advising can provide general advice regarding
graduate school research, financial aid options, application
timelines, guidelines on the application process and information
about the Graduate Record Exam (GRE).
The Office of Pre-Graduate and Pre-Professional Advising
offers several workshops each semester regarding graduate school
preparation. Check out the calendar to see when workshops relevant to you
are taking place.
For more information on choosing and applying to graduate
school, please use the links to the left under "Pre-Graduate

If you are unsure about the process and would like one-on-one
guidance, please make an appointment to see the Pre-Graduate School
Advisor. Dr. Mariangela
Maguire or visit her office in Jordan Hall 153.
