Seeking out experience helps students reach their post-graduate goals
Once Butler history major Amanda Clark decided she wanted to go to law school, she knew where to go next: to the Office of Post-Graduate Studies, for advice on how to proceed.
Clark remembers going to Jordan Hall Room 212, signing up and getting immediate guidance. She talked to Johnny Pryor, director of post-graduate studies, who got her involved in mock trial competitions. Over the next two years, he helped her with personal statements for her law school application, guided her to schools that would fit her abilities and interests and offered advice about which schools she’d likely be accepted to and which might be a stretch.
