If you are interested in
fundamental questions about the nature of matter and the universe,
or if you are interested in the practical fields of engineering you
should consider the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Butler
University. Our department provides undergraduates with a solid
academic program while at the same time allowing students to work
closely with faculty on original research projects and student
theses. We offer a major in physics as well as an
astronomy/astrophyics track. You also have the option of combining
your physics degree with an engineering degree through a
cooperative arrangement between Butler University and the Purdue
School of Engineering and Technology at Indianapolis.
