Application for Pharmacy Transfer Admission
All
applicants must apply to PharmCas, the Pharmacy College Application
Services at www.PharmCAS.org
when applying to the professional phase of the pharmacy
program.
To ensure proper evaluation of transfer credit, applications
should be completed early. Application deadline is Feb. 1 for the
professional phase.
Students with more than 12 semester hours after high school will
be considered transfer students. If you have less than nine hours
of college credit, you should follow the procedures for freshman
applicants.
Unless you have a previous bachelors degree you must submit your
high school transcript.
Transfer Credit Evaluation
When students consider transferring from one college to another,
they are concerned about their credit hours. Butler University's
admission policies are designed to help you make a smooth
transition.
All course work completed at previously attended colleges and
universities will be evaluated as part of the admissions process.
The evaluation will be done within two weeks of receipt of all of
your complete transcript(s). The Registrar's Office evaluates only
official copies of transcripts after an application for admission
has been received.
Admission Requirements
To be admissible to Butler University's College of Pharmacy and
Health Sciences pharmacy program, all transfer applicants must
have a minimum GPA of 3.0 with competitive PCAT
scores of 55% or higher. Students will also be required to
interview for admission. The average transfer student being
admitted into the program has at least a 3.75 GPA and a 75
composite on the PCAT.
