Center for Faith and Vocation
Butler is a religiously unaffiliated private university,
so how is religious life expressed on campus?
Butler is dedicated to encouraging and supporting a variety of
distinct student religious groups on campus. They include Catholic,
Episcopalian, evangelical, Lutheran, Jewish, Methodist, Muslim and
Orthodox Christian groups, as well as students seeking to learn
more about diverse religious and spiritual traditions. The Butler
Center for Faith and Vocation is the epicenter for religious life.
But the Center also helps all students discover unique lives of
purpose, meaning, and contribution through programs that encourage
students to reflect on their deepest convictions and hopes. You can
