Parent Association
Parents of every Butler student automatically become members of
the Parent Association. Through this organization, parents are
invited to share and support their student's university experience
in three primary areas:
- By serving on the Parent Council, the
governing body of the Parent Association.
- Through career development
opportunities with Internship & Career Services. Learn how you
can get involved with student mentoring, workshop presentations and
other opportunities that help our students prepare for the
future.
- By supporting the Parent Fund. Tuition simply
doesn't cover the cost of educating each Butler student - the
University relies on annual support through unrestricted gifts to
The Parent Fund. The Parent Fund is an important component of the
annual giving program. Gifts from current and past parents support
numerous activities and areas on campus such as the Visiting
Writers Series, laboratory equipment, business community outreach
programs and Internet connections in each dorm room. Butler offers
a wide variety of ways to give, and parents give at all levels. Find more information or make a gift.
All parents are encouraged to be an active participant in their
student's education. Campus news, information and updates are
distributed to parents through the Parent NewsFlash email
newsletter. Past editions of the Parent NewsFlash
email are available online. Additionally, information about campus
emergencies is sent through a Parent Notification listserv. Both
the Parent NewsFlash and parent notifications are sent to
each parent with an email address on file. To add your
address, update your contact information
online or call (800) 368-6852, ext. 9946.
