Parents of every Butler student automatically become members of
the Parent Association. Through this organization, parents are
invited to share and support their student's university experience
in three primary areas:
- By serving on the Parent Council, the
governing body of the Parent Association.
- Through career development opportunities with Internship & Career
Services. Learn how you can get involved with student
mentoring, workshop presentations and other opportunities that help
our students prepare for the future.
- By supporting the Butler Fund. Tuition
simply doesn't cover the cost of educating each Butler student -
the University relies on annual support through gifts from alumni,
parents, and friends. The Butler Fund is an important component of
the annual giving program. Gifts from current and past parents
support numerous activities and areas on campus such as the
Visiting Writers Series, laboratory equipment, business community
outreach programs and Internet connections in each dorm room.
Butler offers a wide variety of ways to give, and parents give at
all levels. Find more
information or make a gift.
All parents are encouraged to be an active participant in their
student's education. Campus news, information and updates are
distributed to parents through the Parent NewsFlash email
newsletter. Past editions of the Parent NewsFlash
email are available online. Families can also connect to one
another on the Butler Parent Facebook page.
