The academic calendar is published in the class schedule
each fall and spring semester and can be accessed fromwww.butler.edu/registrar. If you need
dates more than two years in the future, you may call the

How does my son or daughter get a transcript of their work?
~ Show Answer
Students are able to access their transcript by using
My.Butler.edu. If they need an official transcript they can
come to the Registration and Records offices and request it in
person or submit a request via mail or fax using the transcript
request form and instructions located at www.butler.edu/registrar. There is
a fee of $9 for each official transcript with the exception of
those that are sent by Registration and Records in support of an
application or verification of grades for
scholarships. Students who graduate from Butler are entitled
to a total of 25 official transcripts for up to one year after
their degree is posted. In every case, the student must
request and sign for official transcripts.
When and how will the Dean's List be posted?
~ Show Answer
Once the Dean's List is approved by all colleges, we make
that information available to newspapers for students who have not
requested privacy of enrollment information. This is usually within
the month after grades are posted.
What are the criteria for Dean's List?
~ Show Answer
Undergraduate students who earn at least 12 hours of grade
credit are eligible for the Dean's List if their Term GPA is in the
top 20% of their college. Students in the College of Pharmacy and
Health Sciences must be in the top 20% of their class standing.
College and class standing are taken from the beginning of the fall
or spring term of the Dean's List calculation.
How is registration priority assigned?
~ Show Answer
Students are assigned registration priority by the
Registration and Records Office based on their class standing and
earned credit hours at the beginning of the term: graduate students
and seniors, then juniors, sophomores and freshmen. Students active
in the Honors Program, students with disabilities, and men's and
women's Basketball players are assigned to the first appointments
in their class level.

last day of classes in the fall term. For degrees to be awarded in
August, students should submit by the first day of class for the
Summer 1 term. Those wishing to participate in December graduation
