Audition Day Side-by-Side Opportunities

Show

We encourage you to select a music audition date which includes a side-by-side (s/s) opportunity, in which you are able to participate alongside current Butler University students in an ensemble rehearsal.  Two audition dates with side by side options are scheduled for each of the following ensembles:  Butler Symphony Orchestra (strings), University Chorale (vocalists), Wind Ensemble (wind/brass/percussion) and Jazz Ensemble jam.

Your participation in these s/s ensembles will not be considered part of your audition but will help you gain a better "feel" for music at Butler. Music will be provided at the side-by-side rehearsal, rather than in advance.

Music Audition Dates, including side-by-side options are

  • November 9, 2012   Strings side-by-side (string auditions only on this day)
