Piano Pedagogy at Butler
Butler University is one of the few schools nationwide that
offers an undergraduate degree in Piano Pedagogy. This degree is
for serious pianists who wish to pursue a career as an independent
teacher.
The Piano Pedagogy curriculum is designed to train and support
emerging piano teachers, fully equipping piano pedagogy majors with
the tools they will need to be certified studio piano teachers by
the time they graduate.
The piano faculty at Butler encourage all piano majors to learn
about teaching and improve their teaching skills during their time
at Butler.
