Voice Day at Butler University
Saturday, October 11, 2014.
Butler University Voice Day is open to high school juniors and
seniors of all levels. The second annual Voice Day will be held in
the Eidson-Duckwall Recital Hall and the Howard L. Schrott Center
for the Arts, and will feature the voice faculty from Butler
University: Dr. Kathie Kelton, Prof. Mary Anne Scott, Prof. Thomas
Studebaker., Instructors of Voice T.J. Bourne and Jane Dutton, and
Visiting Guest Artist Angela Brown. The day will include sessions
on practice technique, repertoire selection, college audition
preparation and information about Butler University. The highlight
of the day will be the closing recital, which will feature all of
the attending voice students presenting solo performances. Family
and friends are invited to attend the closing recital in the Howard
L. Schrott Center for the Arts.
Butler University's Voice Day is free of charge. Please bring a
copy of your music for the accompanist.
