General Requirements:

  1. Audition and acceptance into principal-level applied music study required.
  2. Upper division applied examination required at the end of the first 8 credit hours of principal study.
  3. Minimum of one solo performance on a collegiate student recital each year (2 semesters of study) prior to the required upper division applied music study.
  4. Recital (minimum: one-half) required during upper division applied music study.
  5. Minimum acceptable grade for all required courses is 2.0 (C).
  6. Equivalent of six semesters of music performance attendance requirement prior to graduation: total 48 (allocated according to music major requirement).
