Wendy Muston, harp
Wendy Muston is principal harpist of the Indianapolis Chamber
Orchestra. Her interest in the harp began in grade school in
Council Bluffs, Iowa, through a unique music program in which there
was a harp in every school. She continued her music studies at
Indiana University's School of Music, earning her performance
degree while studying with Peter Eagle, Susann McDonald, and Linda
Wood. She has held the principal harp position with the Illinois
Chamber Orchestra, the Springfield Symphony, and the Peoria
Symphony Orchestra and has been featured with those orchestras.
Along with her work in the chamber orchestra, Ms. Muston continues
to keep a full schedule as second harpist with the Indianapolis
Symphony Orchestra and in recording studios. Her performances are
featured on the CD Here for You, a collection of music by
Indianapolis's foremost women musicians. Ms. Muston is married to
Chip Muston and they are the parents of daughters, Audrey and
Sophia.
