Spanish Free Clinic Volunteering
The Trinity Free
Clinic, located at Our Lady of
Mount Carmel Catholic Church, grew out of a grass-roots effort
between the church,
St. Vincent Hospital-Carmel and local physicians and medical
personnel who volunteered to provide health assessments,
immunizations, health education and primary care referral for the
growing number of Hispanic families locating to Hamilton County.
Spanish students from Butler have taken the initiative to offer
their special skills to assist patients in speaking with
health-care providers at the Trinity Free Clinic. Just one way to
get involved and give back!
