Language Minor Requirements
The requirements for a minor in French, German, or Spanish
- 21 credit hours in the language, of which 12 must be at the 300
and 400 levels
Useful Information:
- 3 credits are awarded for a score of 4 or 5 on the AP exam
- Students who place at the 200 or 300 level receive back credits
(3-9 credit hours) after they have completed 6 credit hours at the
300 level or above with a grade of C or better.
- All of these placement credits "count" toward a major or minor
in the language of your choice.
