Requirements for a Minor in Italian
A total of 21 hours is required, with at least 12 being at the
300/400 LEVEL. No 400- level course is required. Any 300-level can
be selected and counted. At least six hours must be taken abroad in
an accredited advanced Italian program and must be approved in
advance by the department head.
Any advanced placement credits earned may also be included. To
apply for these credits, a students must have completed two courses
at the 300 level with at least C's to get the AP credit. Go to the
LAS Dean's office in JH 237 and request that these placement
credits be placed on your transcript.
