German Klub
Butler's German Klub has been around
since 2003 and gives students the chance to create and participate
in German events for fun and for social, service and academic
development. Students run the Klub and hold offices such as
President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Activities
Chairperson. The Klub usually has about six activities a
semester. Some of the activities have been:
- Hayride and bonfire
- Trip to the Hofbräuhaus in Cincinnatti
- Gummi-Bear Fundraiser
- Soccer Night
- Making Zuckertüten (German 1st day of school bags) for German
School in Indianapolis
- Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Visit
- German Academic Round Table Topics Night
- Trip to Chicago Christmas Market
- German Music Sharing Night
- Community Mixer with Au Pair and Exchange Students
- Stammtisch (weekly social hour)
