Allen Deck

Allen Deck is an actor, announcer, voice talent, narrator, writer, producer, director, air personality, audio engineer, designer, conceptual artist, raconteur and educator. Mr. Deck has spent over three and a half decades in various venues of show business. Of the literally thousands of commercials he has voiced in the last 20 years, many have received top accolades in both national and international competition, including a Best of Show Telly, ADDYs, CLIOs and many more. His narration work has aired nationally over PBS and The Learning Channel. Mr. Deck's syndicated reggae show, 'Dread of Night,' has been heard on over 60 radio stations.

Mr. Deck studied broadcasting and drama at Butler from 1964 to 1968; was a distinguished honors graduate in both journalism and broadcasting at the Defense Information School where he taught for two and a half years. He is graduate of Criteria's Recording Institute of America School of Miami. Mr. Deck has taught performance and audio production for the Department of Media Arts since 1988.
