Anthony Calhoun

Anthony Calhoun, also known as "A.C." by his colleagues, joined WISH-TV in August of 1998 as a sports anchor/reporter. In addition to his reporting duties, he also anchors “Sportslocker Saturday.” Anthony has been an adjunct faculty member in Media Arts since 2002.

When he isn't working hard at WISH TV, Anthony serves as a sideline reporter for Big Ten football games for ESPN regional television. Anthony also lends his skills to WDFN radio out of Detroit, Mich., as a weekly NFL reporter and has delivered play-by-play for the RCA Tennis Championships. Anthony was selected to serve as the studio host for the NCAA Men's sports selection shows in Indianapolis and he lends his voice to all the NCAA ticket promotions. He also has his own column in the Indianapolis Recorder Newspaper —"A.C.'s CORNER" — where he interviews sports celebrities.

He graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor's of science in broadcast journalism. During his time at Syracuse University, Anthony was a Remembrance Scholar, which is the highest award given by the prestigious New York-based university.
