Evaluating Journals & Periodicals ~ Scholarly Journals

Once you find a citation, use the following criteria to see if it is Scholarly:

Author researchers, scholars and experts
Length longer, in-depth articles
Language uses vocabulary of the discipline
Publisher university & scholarly presses, professional organizations
Sources footnotes & bibliographies always included
Graphics charts, tables, almost no advertisements
Intended Value to share original research with the academic community and other scholars
