Group & Individual Study Room Policy: Irwin Library

Available Spaces

We have several areas that are available for group work on the first floor of the Irwin Library. In addition, the following study rooms are available for groups and individuals on a first-come, first-served basis: IL 026, IL 028, IL 230, and IL 238.

Time Limits

Rooms 226, 306, and 007 can be reserved for no longer than 4 hours each day. Students abusing this rule may be asked to relinquish the study room.

Reserved Spaces

Irwin Library Room 226, Room 306, and Room 007 can be reserved by Butler students for either group or individual study. The rooms can be reserved online here:  http://butler.libcal.com/booking/studyrooms

Instructions: Click on the desired time you wish to reserve a room. To add additional hours, click on the desired hour to add it to your request list. Enter your name and email address and click "submit." You will receive an email confirmation of your request. You must respond to the email within 1 hour to confirm the request or it will be cancelled. When your scheduled time arrives, stop at Irwin Library's circulation desk to check out the key for the room you reserved.
