Lost & Found Policy
The library is not responsible for unattended personal
items.
The lost & found for the Irwin Library is located at the
Circulation desk on the main floor. You can inquire about items at
the desk, by phone (317-940-9227), or by email (circ@butler.edu).
Valuables with personal information (e.g., wallets, ID's, credit
cards) are kept in a secure location. If possible, the Circulation
Department will attempt to contact the owner via phone or
e-mail.
Non-valuable items (clothing, umbrellas, etc.) are donated to
Goodwill at the end of each semester.
Non-valuable paper items (notebooks, photocopies, calendars,
etc.) are recycled at the end of each semester.
