Many resources are available to assist all aspects of the
advising and registration process. Advisors and advisees are
encouraged to explore all of them to ensure a successful and smooth
advising experience.
Policy and Administrative Resources
Registration and Records: manages the
University course catalog, academic calendar, the schedule of
classes, registration, degree audits, transfer credit, and
transcripts.
My.Butler: access to your Student Center,
university information, and services to manage the administrative
tasks associated with your enrollment.
My.Butler Help: comprehensive information about
all of the tasks you can complete in the My.Butler portal.
AP/IB/CLEP Credit: information about which
test credits will count towards degree or Core requirements.
Transfer Credit: information about how
transfer credits may apply to degree requirements.
FERPA information: document detailing the
rights students have in regards to their academic record.

Course Search: information on how to search
for courses offered each term.
Academic Programs: search by college, available
majors and minors, interests, and interdisciplinary programs.
Core Curriculum: overview of the Core
Curriculum structure, including information about the common Core

for High Achievement and Scholarly Engagement (CHASE): office
dedicated to encouraging students to seek opportunities to enhance
their academic journey, including undergraduate research, the
Washington, D.C., Learning Program, and national fellowships and
scholarships.
Center for Global Education: research study
abroad opportunities, including semester-long and shorter
programs.
Internship
and Career Services (ICS): learn more about career searches,
internship opportunities, and campus employment.
