Welcome to Butler University!
Have you ever found yourself somewhere new, yet everyone seemed to assume you knew your way around? That you knew exactly where you were going and how you were going to get there? College can be quite the trip! It is fun and full of unexpected twists and turns. Sometimes you may find yourself in need of a pit stop or a tune up. Other times you may feel ready for the fast lane to reach your desired destination.
We hope that while you are on this exciting journey you will occasionally explore the scenic route, make time for a significant historical marker and meet lots of helpful “locals” along the way. This information is designed to help you navigate the first year of your journey, to give you some basics so you better understand what this new place has to offer, what the institution expects of you, and how to best utilize those staff, faculty and student “locals” who really know how Butler works. We want you to enjoy your college journey and make the most of every opportunity along the way!
