Erin Walls
Erin Long Walls is a native of Mishawaka, Indiana, graduating
from Mishawka High School in 1990 and Butler University in 1994. At
Butler Erin majored in journalism and chemistry and completed an
internship at Indianapolis Monthly Magazine. After graduation, she
contributed to several local and regional publications as a
freelance writer. In 2003, Erin earned a MBA from Indiana
University; she is also a certified Editor in the Life
Sciences.
Since 1996 Erin has worked at Eli Lilly and Company, serving in
various roles in the Medical Communications department. Her
experiences have included writing and publications strategy for
multiple products, global development of the publications
capability, and business strategy definition and implementation.
Most recently she has been leading the development and
implementation of Lilly's content management strategy.
Erin has held regional officer positions in the American Medical
Writers Association (1998-2002), and sings in the St. Paul's
Episcopal Church choir. She lives in Carmel with husband John and
2-year-old son, Conrad.
