Butler's Society of
Professional Journalists campus chapter
embraces the highest standards of the profession and provides
student members with a broader understanding of the ethical and
legal concerns facing the media industry. The chapter also allows
students to learn from and actively network with accomplished
professionals in the field.
Butler's Public
Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA)
chapter provides professional and leadership development
opportunities, allowing students to apply classroom theories and
methods prior to graduation. The chapter also invites notable
public relations professionals from the community to share their
expertise with students.
For students interested in a career in advertising or marketing,
ADrenaline, Butler's
Ad Club chapter, provides an experiential learning environment that
replicates work in an advertising agency. ADrenaline members hone
their advertising, marketing and audience-focused problem-solving
skills by participating in the American Advertising Federation's
National Student Advertising Competition and developing ad
campaigns and marketing materials that address the communication
needs of their clients.
