Dave A. Calabro '85
- Sports director, anchor and host of 13 SportsJam for WTHR-TV in
Indianapolis
- Provided play-by-play for nine IRL races for Fox Sports
- Received five Emmy Awards for Best Sportscaster in the past six
years
- Recognized as the best local sportscaster for 2003 by the
readers of Indianapolis Monthly and received a 2003 NUVO Best of
Indy Reader's Choice award
- Previously worked as a sports anchor for WDTN-TV in Dayton,
Ohio where he covered Bengals football and Reds baseball

- Televison and radio play-by-play broadcaster of the Seattle
Sonics since 1987
- Past assignments include NBA broadcasts on TNT/TBS, NBATV and
ESPN radio
- Broadcast the 2000 United States men's basketball Olympic Games
for a worldwide audience on Westwood One Radio Network
- Recognized by his peers as Washington State "Sports Broadcaster
of the Year" in 1997, 2000, 2001 and 2002
- A local Emmy Award winner, Calabro was acknowledged along with
the late Chick Hearn as one of the top five NBA announcers in 1998

Richard (Rick) Cummings '73
- President, Radio Division, Emmis Communications, Encino,
Calif.
- Previously at Emmis he served as executive vice president for
programming for a national 11-station group and national program
director for Emmis, overseeing WENS Indianapolis, WLOL Minneapolis,
KSHE St. Louis and Magic 106 Los Angeles, and was the first program
director for WENS, Indianapolis

- Began broadcasting career in South Bend, Ind., as a general

Lawrence P. Mago '79
- Senior vice president of marketing for the Indiana Pacers in
Indianapolis
- Joined the Pacers in 1985 as general manager of the Pacers'
Network Indiana, a 50-station statewide radio network, before being
promoted to vice president of sports and entertainment for the
Pacers
- Experience with the Pacers includes live Pacers coverage of the
1996 preseason in Germany and Spain, directing the 1992 NBA Finals
world feed and executive producer of the Host Broadcast for the
2002 FIBA World Basketball Championship held in Indianapolis

Brian Smith (aka Charlie Morgan) '83
- Vice president and general manager, WGLD, WGRL and WFMS radio

- Member of the Country Radio Broadcaster's board of directors

- Under his leadership, WFMS-Radio has received numerous national
awards including the 2002 Marconi Award for a Medium Market Station
