Programs for Leadership and Service Education

Butler Leadership Development Guide Modules (B.L.D.G. Modules):

These modules are available for student organizations to sign up for throughout the semester. Organizations who sign up for these modules would meet for approximately one hour per week with a professional staff member to cover one of the specific topics below as chosen by the student organization. The expectation would be that a minimum of 5 members from the group (pending there are more than 5 current members) would attend the module.

 Modules for this series include:

  • Developing and Energizing Your Membership
  • Creating and Defining Your Organization's Mission and Purpose
  • Expanding/retaining your membership
  • Working as a team with Purpose
  • Developing your members' and group's strengths
  • Effective Organizational Transition / Nuts and Bolts
  • Making Organizational Change
  • Utilizing Your Campus/Community Resources
  • Effective Programming / Marketing
