Leadership Development

An important part of your college experience is developing your leadership skills. Employers are looking for people who have the skills to make a difference at work and in their communities.

"Leadership" means many different things to many different people, and we are here to help you define it for yourself. The office offers numerous ways for you to begin your leadership development journey:

Bulldog Leadership Program: Bulldog Leadership is a collection of leadership opportunities that offers insight into answering the question, "What does it mean to be a successful leader at Butler?"  Bulldog Leadership encourages you to be involved in campus activities, empowers you to make a difference while at Butler and challenges you to practice leadership in all your involvements both on-campus and as part of the local community.

Leadership Topics: If you're short on time but need some information about a specific leadership topic, stop in to grab a one-page sheet about that topic. You may also click the link to the left to view them online.

Leadership Library: Students may use the resources in our library - we have books on numerous and varied topics. Click the link to the left for more information.

Leadership Consultations: Would you like your organization to learn about leadership topics including motivation, goal setting, event planning, or budgeting? The PuLSE Office is glad to present to your organization on any leadership topic or meet with you individually to help. Contact us at (317) 940-9262 or stop in 101 Atherton Union.
