International Orientation
Thursday, August 22 through Saturday, August 25,

International Orientation is specifically designed for
the international students of Butler. The orientation will be
a time for you to meet current and incoming international students,
and receive important information specific to Butler's
international population such as immigration regulations,
the American lifestyle, and academic differences.
You will be paired with a Diversity Ambassador to help
you familiarize yourself with the campus, Butler life, and the
Indianapolis community. The International Orientation Ambassadors
are Butler students who are excited to help you get settled and get
involved here at Butler.

Butler Welcome Week
Welcome Week, Fall 2013 is the week after International
Orientation for all incoming students. This is the time when you
will meet other students from your dormitory as well as your chosen
major. You will also have a chance to visit the booths of the
student clubs and organizations on campus. Be sure to ask lots of
questions and sign up for activities you are interested in! The
Diversity Ambassadors will be there to make it easy for you to find
what you are looking for and get as much as possible out of Welcome
Week. Remember, this is at least their second Welcome Week; take
advantage of their knowledge.
