University Assessment Committee
The University Assessment Committee has overall responsibility
for developing Butler's assessment plan and for ensuring that the
plan results in improvements in the quality of the university's
programs. Facilitated by the Director of Institutional
Research and Assessment, the committee is divided into two
subcommittees: the academic subcommittee comprises the
associate deans from each college and the Associate Provost for
Faculty Affairs, and the administrative subcommittee comprises
selected directors from a cross-section of administrative
divisions, a student representative, and the Associate Provost for
Student Academic Affairs. Both subcommittees promote
campus-wide assessment activities and serve as a resource to
departments and divisions.
