Work at Home (Windows 7)

Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade discs are available for purchase at the Help Desk for $10.00 via the Work-at-Home program. Work at Home software must be used on your home computer for work-related purposes; the license does not cover personal use. In the event that employment at Butler ends, you are required to remove the software from your home computer. The Work at Home agreement allows each user to purchase one copy of software per release. NOTE: Microsoft Office 2010 is NOT available for purchase from the Help Desk. Please see the Home Use Program below.

If you contact the Help Desk ahead of time, the necessary Work-at-Home paperwork can be sent to you electronically (317-940-HELP or helpdesk@butler.edu). Visit the IT Online Store to pay for Work at Home software online. The following products are currently available:

Windows 7 Ultimate Upgrade
- NOTE: Since this is an upgrade disc, you must have a previous version of Windows installed on your computer, such as Windows XP or Windows Vista, to install Windows 7 Ultimate
- Will your computer run Windows 7
- Do you need 32-Bit OR 64-Bit

Home Use Program (HUP) (Microsoft Office 2010 for Windows and 2011 for Mac)

HUP software is available for personal use and does not need to be removed if employment at Butler ends. The HUP allows faculty & staff to purchase EITHER Office Professional Plus 2010 for Windows OR Office for Mac 2011 but NOT both. The HUP allows for one installation on a primary device and one installation on a mobile device (ie. laptop). For details, see Microsoft's Terms and Conditions.

HUP software is NOT available for pick up at the Help Desk. Download or order one of the following for $9.95 through the Microsoft Home Use Program.
