Butler Owned PCs, Macs & Peripherals

The Hub and Software Fee is added to the cost of all computers and networked printers. The money collected is used for several things:

• Funds the campus wide software license for faculty, staff and lab computers (including Microsoft, antivirus and other software agreements)
• Helps fund the repair of computers and networked printers
• Helps fund network maintenance and growth as more devices are added
• Helps maintain and support computer lab and classroom computers

Butler requires the purchase of IT's two year warranty for iPads and four year warranty for Macs. This warranty covers repairs for hardware failure and accidental damage (maximum two incidents). The cost is $100. Please add this to the computer requisition for your iPad or Mac purchase.
