Connecting to Butler Wireless (BU Secure Wireless)

webOS (Palm Pre and Palm Pixi)

1. Open the Application Launcher (bottom right corner)
2. Open Device Info
3. Scroll down and select the More Info button
4. Find the MAC address (it will be in the format XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX)
5. From a web browser, visit http://netreg.butler.edu and login with your Butler username and password
6. Enter the MAC address in the MAC address field
7. Enter a Description                                             
8. Click the Register button
9. You should see a successful registration message
10. On the phone, you should now be able to connect to the BU Secure Wireless network using your Butler username and password.

Palm OS (previous models)

1. Select Applications (Double-click  Home button)
2. Select System in the top right-hand corner of the screen
3. Select Prefs
4. Select Wifi under "Communication"
5. Select Info
6. Find the MAC address (it will be in the format XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX)
7. From a web browser, visit http://netreg.butler.edu and login with your Butler username and password
8. Enter the MAC address in the MAC address field
9. Enter a Description
10. Click the Register button
11. You should see a successful registration message
12. On the phone, you should now be able to connect to the BU Secure Wireless network using your Butler username and password.
