Entourage Manual Configuration
- Launch Entourage. From the Tools tab,
select Accounts from the dropdown menu
- Select the down arrow next to the New button.
Select Exchange…
- When the "Set Up Mail Account" screen opens, click
Configure Account Manually

- Enter BUmail for the Account Name
- Enter your full name
- Enter your Butler email address
- Enter your Butler Username in the Account ID field
- Enter butler.edu for Domain
- Enter your Butler Password
- Enter bash.butler.edu in the Exchange Server field
- Enable "This DAV service requires a secure connection
(SSL)"
- Click on the Advanced tab
- Enter bumail.butler.edu/public for Public Folders Server
- Enable "This DAV service requires a secure connection"
- Enter butler.edu for LDAP Server
- Ensure that "This server requires me to log on" is
unchecked
- Click OK
- To set your BUmail account as the default mail account, select
Accounts from the Tools dropdown
menu
- Select BUmail (Exchange) and click
Make Default
You have successfully set up your BUmail
Account!
1) Launch Entourage and go to Tools >
Accounts
2) Select the down arrow next to the New
button to chose "Exchange…"
3) When the "Set Up Mail Account" screen
opens, click the Configure Account
Manually button
4) Enter "BUmail" for the Account
Name
5) Enter your full name
6) Enter your Butler email address
7) Enter your Butler Username in the
Account ID field
8) Enter "butler.edu" for Domain
9) Enter your Butler Password
10) Enter "bear.butler.edu" in the
Exchange Server field
11) Enable "This DAV service requires a
secure connection (SSL)"

18) To set your BUmail account as
the default mail account, go to
Tools > Accounts
19) Select "BUmail (Exchange)" and
click Make Default
20) You have successfully set up
your BUmail Accoun
