Entourage Syncing

1. Make sure that you have set up Entourage with BUmail. Visit our Entourage Configuration page for more information
2. Launch Entourage. From the Entourage tab, select Preferences
3. Select Sync Services
4. Here you can select which services you would like to sync. Services you can sync are Address Book, iCal, and .Mac. Simply check the boxes to enable synching for those services. Select <service>[BUmail] in the drop downs
5. Click OK
6. A box will pop up asking how you would like to sync your services. You can choose to:
   • "Replace Synch Services items with Entourage items". This will send your data from Entourage/BUmail (Calendars/Notes/Contacts) to iCal/Address Book/.Mac
   • "Replace Entourage items with Synch Services items". This will send your data from iCal/Address Book/.Mac to Entourage/BUmail
   • (Recommended) "Merge Entourage items with Synch Services items". This will combine the data in both places (Entourage/BUmail and iCal/Address Book/.Mac). This will ensure that all of your data is up to date in both places (BUmail/Entourage and iCal/Address Book/.Mac)

By synching your data with Entourage, it will also makes the same changes on the BUmail website. Conversely, changes on the BUmail web site will be synchronized with iCal/Address Book/.Mac. Note, however, that Entourage has to remain open for this synching to take place.
