About Information Technology (IT)

Mission & Structure

Information Technology provides leadership and mission-critical technology to support the University's goals. We enrich the overall experience of the Butler community by providing services which overcome the barriers of time and geography. We partner with our constituents to foster an environment of continual improvement resulting in the highest quality liberal arts education.

Directions to IT ~ Show

The Holcomb Building is between Gallahue Hall and the Pharmacy Building. Visitor Parking is available in various areas of campus with the most convenient to IT being metered parking in front of the Pharmacy Building.

Preferred Route Once Parked: Enter the Holcomb Building (22 on the campus map) through the front entrance near the West Mall (53 on the campus map). Go up the stairs on the left to the third floor and enter through the Help Desk door.

Alternate Route Once Parked: Enter the Holcomb Building (22 on the campus map) through the back staircase. Take the stairs to the 3rd (top) floor. Go through the door, take an immediate left, then a right. Go down the hall and turn left at the end. The Help Desk is on the left (HB 315).
