talented individuals with business experience and advanced degrees
to teach in the areas of Economics, Finance, and Investments.
Position Description: The primary
responsibility of an adjunct professor is to teach one or more
courses in a 15 week semester. Courses can be Graduate (normally
evening) or Undergraduate (normally day or early
evening).
Qualifications: Applicant must have
an advanced degree preferably in an area related to the courses to
be taught, for example MBA, or Masters or PhD in economics or
finance. Key skills and competencies for this position
include: Excellent written and oral communication skills and
analytical abilities; the ability and desire to work actively and
effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment; a strong
commitment to applied, practical business education; demonstrated
commitment to diversity of thought and background; and the highest
ethical standards.
Length of Appointment: One semester
appointments to teach one or more courses, renewable thereafter as
needed, and as available, subject to review. The duration of
the appointment will not exceed that specified by university
policy.

INSTRUCTORS IN BUSINESS

We invite applications for three instructor positions (not
tenure eligible) to start in August, 2013. Candidates should have
the ability to teach courses in entrepreneurship, economics,
accounting, or information technology. The ability to teach
in additional disciplines such as marketing or business statistics
is a plus. Applicants should possess at least a master's degree in
a business related discipline and 5 years of previous business
experience. Previous successful teaching experience at the college
level is also strongly desired. Applicants must be either
academically or professionally qualified by AACSB standards for
full consideration. The basic position requirements are to teach
twelve credit hours per semester in the disciplines listed above.
The successful candidates will also assume other normal faculty
responsibilities such as student advising, service on committees
and student recruitment activities. Accredited by AACSB
