Responsibilities to the Mission: 

 • Provide daily care and upkeep of campus grounds to include planting, seeding, fertilizing,
  aerating, mowing, pruning, irrigation, and leaf removal

 • Assist in snow removal, clean streets and sidewalks, collect and dispose of trash

 • Perform minor/preventive maintenance on grounds equipment as needed

 • Install signage

 • Maintain trash control and recycling

 • Set up for university events

 • Perform other related duties as assigned

Competencies Required:

 • High school graduate or equivalent
  
 • Must be physically able to work outside year round
 
 • Evidence of stable work history and dependability

 • Prior experience in grounds work desired

 • Valid driver's license and good driving record

 • Must be able to work overtime or on-call as required

 • Demonstrated ability to work independently or with a team

 • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and carry 10 feet

Responsibilities to the Mission: 

 • To maintain campus lighting fixtures and systems

 • Inspect, clean, and repair lighting fixtures throughout campus buildings and grounds

 • Replace electronic and magnetic ballast, starters, capacitors, and igniters.

 • Repair fixture assemblies along with switches and sockets. 

 • Assist electricians on various repair and construction projects.

 • Assist in the routing inspection, testing, and repair of selected elements of the camps fire alarm system.

 • Perform other related duties as assigned

Competencies Required:

 • High school graduate or equivalent
  
 • Must be physically able and to occasionally work outside
 
 • Evidence of stable work history and dependability

 • Prior experience as a lighting technician or electrician desired

 • Valid driver's license and good driving record

 • Must be able to work overtime or on-call as required

 • Demonstrated ability to work independently or with a team

 • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and carry 10 feet
