Responsibilities:
   
 • Provide preventive and routine maintenance as well as reconstruction on existing campus masonry using standard materials and methods.  Includes the use of pneumatic cutting equipment,    ladders, scaffolding and motorized swing staging. 
     
 • Handle small concrete installations and repairs as needed.
 
 • Perform repairs on a variety of roofing systems throughout campus

 • Erect required scaffolding, ladders and motorized swing staging in compliance with OSHA standards.

Requirements: 
  
 • High school education or equivalent preferred.       
 
 • At least two years related experience in masonry work; experience in building restoration using brick
    and stone preferred.
            
 • Ability to use standard hand tools.

 • Must have a valid Indiana driver's license and a good driving record.

 • Must have a demonstrated ability to lift up to 100 lbs., ability to work at heights of 100 feet on 
    ladders, scaffolding and motorized swing staging, walk for extended periods of time on hard surfaces 
    and use pneumatic tools for extended periods of time

 • Must be knowledgeable of occupational hazards connected with work and the safety standards and 
    practices applied.

 • Must not have physical reactions to these building materials and chemicals: zylol, cement, lime, water repellant, paint thinner, mineral spirits, latex and oil based paint, eurathane and silicon     caulk, tar and others

We are seeking applicants for Building Services housekeeping positions.  Key responsibilities are performing daily cleaning of facilities, assisting in room set-ups in buildings, and ensuring a friendly, safe and healthy learning environment for students, faculty and staff.  Requirements include prior professional housekeeping experience, demonstrated ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time and to lift up to 50 lbs., agility as necessary to perform tasks, and no known allergies to typical cleaning compounds. Potential applicants must be available to work a "flex" schedule, including weekends and overtime as needed. High school graduate or equivalent education experience and valid Indiana driver's license with good driving record desired.
