Recreation is an official partner of the American Council on
Exercise via the ACE Educational Partners
Program assuring well-rounded quality exam preparation and
great discounts on study materials and the exam.
Benefits
The program will prepare you to take the ACE exam. You
receive preferred pricing on study materials at 20% off,
instructional support and curriculum and receive $40 off the exam
fee. Furthermore you benefit from the opportunity to take a
web based exam at locations around Indianapolis with dates and
times that are convenient for your schedule. For more

We will provide you with a preparatory course including
lectures, skills review, educational handouts, and study
aids. Program fees do not include the cost of the national
certification examination.
Cost
The cost of the Personal Trainer certification examination
preparation class is:
Butler Student - included in tuition of taken as an academic
class for 1 credit; PWB fulfillment
Butler Student (non-academic class) - $50.00
University Affiliate (faculty, staff, alumni) - $75.00
General Public - $100.00

- Acceptance communication: January 9 for those taking as a
non-academic offering
