Intramural Sports

Are you looking for an activity to participate with friends, co-workers and/or greek brothers and sisters? Intramural Sports may be the thing for you. We provide a variety of sports that are both active (i.e. basketball) and passive (i.e. euchre). These sports are open to all Butler students and are formatted as a one day special event/tournament or a 3 week league with a playoff tournament. So what are you waiting for? Get out and play in Butler Intramural Sports!

What's new in 2013-14?

Single Sign On (SSO) with imleagues
This feature provides you the ability to use your BU username and password for immediate log-in and it keeps you logged in for quick access. Say 'Yes!' to efficiency! Log in to your account now!

Need a Job? Be an Intramural Official!
Intramural Official's training for Flag Football is right around the corner. Please check out the student employment page for more information regarding training or call the IM office at 940.8514.

New Sports
This will be the first year the intramural sports program offers Indoor Sprint Triathlon as a sport. This sport will be played in the spring. Tell the Intramural Sports Council what you think!

 

 

Sport Formats for 13-14
Be sure to read up on the rules for each sport this year. Some sports (flag football, volleyball, ultimate frisbee, kickball, basketball, soccer) have a 3wk leagues and a single elimination tournament while other sports(cornhole, euchre, table tennis, golf, etc) have a one-two day tournament format!

Intramural Sports Council (ISC)
The purpose of the ISC is to serve as liaison between intramurals sport participants and recreational sports staff to generate participant involvement in all aspects of the intramural sports programs. The council helps decide new sports, rule adjustments and the design of IM champ shirt among other items.

Captain's Quizzes
Captain's Quizzes have permanently replaced captain's meetings we have done for many of our intramural league sports (flag football, ultimate, volleyball, basketball, kickball and outdoor soccer). Questions? Please give us a call 940.8514.
