How do I receive my pre-ordered tickets? ~ Show Answer

Tailgate parking passes have been sent via FedEx to the registrant's home address provided on the registration form. No other tickets will be mailed in advance. Football tickets will be available for pick-up Saturday, October 20 at the Butler Bowl/Hinkle Fieldhouse will-call. Those attending other ticketed or class reunion events will not need tickets; your name will be included on the registration list so you will just check in at the door for your event.

Where can I park on campus during Homecoming weekend? ~ Show Answer

Parking will be permitted in any of the parking lots marked with an A or C during the weekend. Parking will not be permitted in lots marked B, G or HV. The Hinkle Fieldhouse lot will be reserved for tailgate parking pass holders on Saturday, October 20 from 10 a.m.- 10 p.m. The Hinkle Fieldhouse lot opens at 10 a.m. The Hinkle Fieldhouse lot is sold out, so no passes will be available for purchase on-site. View our online parking map of campus to view current parking allocations. The alumni office is also providing a FREE shuttle to and from the Riviera Club (5640 North Illinois Street). The shuttle will run from 8 a.m. - 11 p.m. The shuttle will drop off and pick up on campus at Hinkle Fieldhouse, 46th & Sunset and Atherton Union.

I have mobility issues. Will there be transportation available on campus? ~ Show Answer

Golf cart shuttles will be circulating campus on Saturday, October 20 from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. for those guests that need assistance in reaching another area of campus.

I registered for my class reunion but did not receive any tickets for my event(s). ~ Show Answer

Tickets are not necessary for the reunion events. Attendees can simply arrive at the event and check-in at the registration table.

Is there an information tent for Homecoming? ~ Show Answer

Yes, there are two Alumni Association Information Tents this year. One will be located in Bulldog Boulevard located in the Hinkle Parking lot south of gate 4 and the second will be located by Norris Plaza in the center of campus. This is where you can register to win two $300 AirTran gift certificates and other great prizes.

What is Bulldog Boulevard? Did I have to sign up in advance to attend? ~ Show Answer

Bulldog Boulevard is an area of the Hinkle Fieldhouse tailgate lot that is filled with tents representing various campus organizations as well as private tailgaters. This area is open to the public, and campus guests are encouraged to walk through and visit the various tents. Guests are welcome to bring their food, chairs, etc. into this area to gather with fellow alumni. Yes, advanced registration is required to secure a tent. Tents are sold out for Homecoming 2012.

Will there be food options available for purchase in the tailgate lot? ~ Show Answer

Yes. From 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. visit the Homecoming Food Truck Festival along the Butler Way Mall (46th Street) to purchase items from Byrne's Grilled Pizza, Der Pretzel Wagen, Groovy Guys Fries, Tacos without Borders, Scratch Street Food and The Flying Cupcake. Located in the Hinkle Fieldhouse parking lot south of gate 4, Chick-fil-A will be selling items from 4 -6 p.m.  Concession stands will also be open at the Butler Bowl and the C-Club will be open as well.

I registered for Homecoming but can no longer attend. Is it possible to get a refund? ~ Show Answer

Refunds will not be provided for cancellations made now through Homecoming. Cancellations that were made before the registration deadline, Friday, October 5, 2012, were subject to a $5 cancellation fee. Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend the event.

Will tailgate parking passes be available for purchase that morning? ~ Show Answer

Parking passes in the Hinkle lot are sold out for Homecoming 2012. View our online parking map of campus to view current parking allocations. The alumni office is also providing a FREE shuttle to and from the Riviera Club (5640 North Illinois Street). My friends and I want to be next to each other in the tailgate lot. Can we save a space next to ours? ~ Show Answer

Cars are placed in the Hinkle lot in the order in which they arrive. Only vehicles entering consecutively will be placed near one another. To be parked together, cars must arrive together. All vehicle placements are at the discretion of the Hinkle Fieldhouse staff and security officers.

What items am I allowed to bring for tailgating at Hinkle Fieldhouse? ~ Show Answer

I purchased a tent in Bulldog Boulevard. How do I know which one is mine? ~ Show Answer

Each tent will have the signage requested on the Homecoming registration form. In advance of Homecoming, the alumni office will mail you a packet which will include your parking pass and a map of Bulldog Boulevard indicating the location of your tent. Anyone with difficulty locating their tent should go to the Alumni Association tent located in Bulldog Boulevard for assistance.

When can I arrive at my Bulldog Boulevard tent? ~ Show Answer

The Hinkle lot will open at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 20 and remain open until 1.5 hours after the conclusion of the game or 10 p.m., whichever is earlier. Bulldog Boulevard tents can be occupied during those hours.

I receive a parking spot with my Bulldog Boulevard tent. Where will that be located? ~ Show Answer

Bulldog Boulevard parking will be assigned as guests arrive that morning. Spots will not be adjacent to the tents themselves but will be located within the Hinkle Lot. Guests will need to move their supplies from their vehicles to their tent.

When is the deadline to register for the Bulldog Beauty Contest? ~ Show Answer

There is no deadline to register for the Bulldog Beauty Contest; however, gift bags were only guaranteed for those who registered online by September 24, 2012. For day-of-event walk-ups, the gift bags are first-come, first-served.

What activities are available for kids at Homecoming? ~ Show Answer

There is a lot for kids to do at Homecoming. The Bulldog Beauty Contest is a great family event. Blue II's Family Fun Fest at Atherton Mall includes bounce houses, face painting, free balloons and more. This year there will even be a train ride. Be sure to check the full Homecoming schedule. Family-friendly events are marked with a bulldog paw.

Where can I watch the Homecoming parade? ~ Show Answer

The parade route begins at Atherton Union on Hampton Drive and turns onto Sunset Avenue and then onto 49th Street. Fans are encouraged to line the parade route to watch the band, cheerleaders and floats.

If the registration deadline passes, what events allow for day of ticket sales? ~ Show Answer

A number of events will allow walk-ups including the Bulldog Beauty Contest, football game and parade. Several events are FREE and don't require a ticket. Be sure to check out the full Homecoming schedule.

Will there be a place I can visit with former professors or deans? (1) ~ Show Answer

How do I register to win the two $300 Airtran Airlines gift certificates? ~ Show Answer

Everyone at Homecoming is encouraged to register to win a number of prizes including the Airtran Airline gift certificates. The registration box will be in the Alumni Association information tents located in Bulldog Boulevard in Hinkle Fieldhouse's parking lot and by Norris Plaza.

Will there be a place to see Hink, Butler's costumed mascot? ~ Show Answer

Yes. Hink will be at the Alumni Association Information tent in Norris Plaze from 11 a.m.- noon and at the information tent in the Hinkle lot from 12:30-1:30 p.m.

I heard there are lots of free giveaways at this year's Homecoming? ~ Show Answer

Yes, there are free giveaways at this year's Homecoming. The Alumni Association information tents will have reusable grocery bags. Lots of other surprises are being created. Also, check Butler's social media outlets for contests and updates during the day on Saturday, Oct. 20.

Is there a map of Bulldog Boulevard? ~ Show Answer

Yes, a map of the area will be posted on the Homecoming website the week of Homecoming.
