Butler University is pleased to partner with some key groups who
have a mission to improve the wellbeing of the canine population.

Indiana Bulldog Rescue
The Indiana Bulldog
Rescue (IBR) currently has over 40 bulldogs either in need of a
caring new home or a loving sponsor, and many of these bulldogs
will be participating in the Bulldog Beauty Contest presented by
Built Ford Tough Trucks.
IBR rehabilitates and re-homes English, Olde English and French
Bulldogs who come from animal shelters, families and less than

Humane Society of Indianapolis
Serving Indianapolis and the surrounding counties since 1905,
the Humane Society of
Indianapolis provides vital services to animals, including
bulldogs, of course!
Each year the Humane Society of Indianapolis has a big event of
their own, popularly known as the Mutt Strut. Held at the Indianapolis
Motor Speedway, Butler University is a a proud Mutt Strutt
supporter, often supplying the event's grand marshals, Butler Blue II and Butler Blue III (Trip).

Butler University Bulldog Jog & Dog Walk
Entering it's 21st year, the Bulldog Jog 5K run has become
a tradition on the Butler campus, raising funds for student
scholarships. This year's event will again include a Dog Walk, lead by Butler
Bulldogs, Butler Blue II and III (Trip) as a means to support the
Indiana Bulldog Rescue and Humane Society of Indianapolis.
This year's event will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013.

Relay for Life of Butler University
The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life Chapter of Butler
University is keen on fighting cancer, whether present in humans or
canines. Every year this group holds several key events and
fundraisers, including some of the following:
