Welcome Built Ford Tough Trucks!
With new presenting sponsor, Built Ford Tough Trucks, the 12th
anniversary edition of the Butler Bulldog Beauty Contest looks to
be the best one yet! Like our beloved bulldogs, Ford Trucks are
Built Tough and to celebrate, Ford will be bringing the Ford Super
Stage for enhanced viewing, along with some of their signature
vehicles, including the Ford Transit Connect, also known as the
Blue II Mobile by Don Hinds Ford.
New Time
Of course, Built Ford Tough Trucks isn't the only new addition
to this year's event. Due to the evening kickoff time for the
Homecoming football game, this year's contest will be moved to the
afternoon with a 2:00 p.m. (EST) start time on Saturday,
October 20th.
New Location
The contest has changed locations as well, moving back to the
main campus and on the north side of Norris Plaza (site No. 35 on
the campus map).
Bulldogs Only - Register Early
Last year we not only had record participation with over 130
bulldogs, we also had a record crowd, so our best advice is to register your
bulldog as soon as possible and arrive to the event early. This
is a free event and only contestants need to register their
presence. Walk-up participant registration is accepted.
Only bulldogs are allowed to register and compete and
pre-registration is advised. By pre-registering for this year's
contest, you will secure your spot in the contest as well as make
sure that your dog(s) will receive a complimentary gift bag for
participating. The participant goodie bag is sure to have some
great items this year!
We also have some other great prizes for our category winners
and special additions, but we'll wait for the big day to share
