The Campaign
The Campaign for Hinkle
Fieldhouse will ensure that Butler's "Grand Old Barn" continues to
serve Indianapolis and Butler University in the style for which it
has become famous. The project encompasses three main
areas:
- Repairs to preserve and maintain the Fieldhouse's historic
structure.
- Improvements to benefit Butler student-athletes.
- Renovations to enhance spectators'
experiences.
Hinkle's appearance will not
change.
Preservation efforts will keep the Fieldhouse looking healthy
and historic well into the future. The largest portion of the campaign
goal is allocated to infrastructure improvements. Drawings
illustrate the interior improvements, designed to maintain Hinkle's
historic architectural integrity.
Be part of Hinkle's
future.
John Dunn, Class of 1977, chairs the Campaign for Hinkle
Fieldhouse assisted by a cabinet of 15 volunteer
leaders. Work is set to begin in early 2012.
