Butler and Lingnan University have a strong relationship - the
two universities have similar underlying values and many similar or
complementary academic programs. Several students from Lingnan and
several from Butler have participated in the exchange; all of them
have had positive experiences. The president of Lingnan University,
Professor Edward Chen, visited Butler in the spring of 2003, and
several Butler professors have visited the Lingnan campus as
well.
Basic Terms of the Agreement
Exchange students pay tuition, mandatory fees and housing costs
at their home university. When you come to Butler, you will be
provided with a shared room in one of the student residence halls
at no additional cost. All students who live on campus are required
to purchase a meal plan; this requirement will apply to you as
well. Please see the General Information page for relevant
costs.
