The Faculty of Education, Humanities, Law, and Theology at Flinders, under the leadership of Professor Faith Trent, is the focus of the exchange relationship with Butler. Flinders students within EHLT are eligible to participate. There are particularly good opportunities for cooperation and exchange in education, drama (Professor Julie Holledge at Flinders has visited Butler and is well-acquainted with the theatre department here), foreign languages, history, English and American literature, and philosophy and religious studies.

Basic Terms of the Exchange Agreement

Exchange students pay tuition (or incur the normal HECS obligation) and mandatory fees at their home institution and then simply trade places in order to receive a semester (or two) of instruction at the partner university overseas. Accommodation and meals are paid for directly to the host university. as long as application deadlines are met, Butler will insure that incoming exchange students from Flinders University have a space in an on-campus residence hall.

How to apply at Flinders University

If you are interested in participating in the Butler-Flinders student exchange, contact the International Office there to learn more about the opportunity and to begin the application process.
