Brick Campaign
Although the time to order bricks has passed, we
would like to thank everyone once again for your participation in
the Sesquicentennial Brick Campaign. You truly helped make this
campaign a success as it raised nearly $230,000 for the
university's Butler Fund. Roughly 1,500 personalized bricks were
purchased by alumni and friends of Butler and will be showcased in
the Sesquicentennial Plaza for decades to come.
The Sesquicentennial Plaza is located at the northeast
corner of the newly erected Health and Recreation Complex. The
bricks are located at the base of three large, granite pillars that
stand to represent the three stages of Butler University's first
150 years.
The plaza was completed in the fall of 2006.
Please be aware that a few of the bricks in the plaza were
rearranged after Homecoming 2006 in order to give the plaza a more
appealing look, so do not be alarmed if your brick has moved. To
